At the beginning of the 1980's, Archaelogist Ana María Barón noticed a marked growth in the number of tourists that apppeared in the zone of San Pedro de Atacama. Her vast experience in the archeology and cuture of that zone, added to her interest for providing a high level touristic accomodations service, accesible to all, was the impetus for her founding of HOTEL TULOR, 22 years ago.
We have developed an exclusive touristic proposal, focused on the beauty of the dessert, the rich cultural patrimony of Atacama and a hotel infraestructure of the highest level, according to the world-wide touristic requirements.
We are located a few steps from the center of the San Pedro de Atacama town, close to the main street, Caracoles.
We have comfortable rooms, of Superior and Standard levesl, all builtwith adobe and wood, inspired on the Atacama region's building principles, capable of maintaining an ideal temperature day and night, in an absolute natural manner.
All rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, safety boxes and a heater.
Our Superior Rooms are inspired on the Tulor Village, an archaelogist site known for its circular clay structures, with 3,000 years of antiquity.
Our Standard Rooms are inspired on the old Spanish constructions, where the rooms are located next to each other and share a common terrace.
