DAY 1: ARICA – SOCOROMA - PUTRE
Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours. We will visit the Asoagro market, a large agricultural terminal located in the middle of the coastal desert, we will enter the Azapa Valley, Cerro Sombrero, and La Tropilla geoglyphs, visit San Miguel de Azapa Archaeological Museum, which displays sand-preserved mummies and pre-Inca relics dating since 10.000 years B.C., visit Poconchile town with its church of the XVI century, Eco Truly community (vegetal lunch), Pukara de Copaquilla, the hamlet of Zapahuira, visit Socoroma town, short trekking.
A later short stop at Putre viewpoint. Arrive at Putre at 17:30 hours. Walking tour in Putre. (Lunch, dinner with Chilean wine).
DAY 2: PUTRE - SURIRE SALTFLAT - PUTRE
Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours. We will visit Ancuta and Guallatire, two villages located at the foot of the active volcano Guallatire (4.000 m.o.s.l.). At about noon we arrive at Surire Salt deposits and visit Chilcaya where we give you the opportunity to take pictures of the flora and fauna during a one-hour walking trip around this natural monument.
Free time for swimming at Polloquere hot spring in place out of doors (4.270 m.o.s.l.). Return to Putre. Arrival at 18:00 hours. (Packed lunch, dinner with Chilean wine, mineral water).
DAY 3 PUTRE - CHUNGARA LAKE - ARICA
Departure from hotel at 09:00 hours. Entering Lauca National Park, the sight of exotic flora, short trekking at Las Cuevas area, visit the typical village of Parinacota. Wild fauna and majestic scenery: the Payachatas volcanoes and Chungara Lake, the highest in the world (4.517 m.o.s.l), returning to Cotacotani Lagoons, Lunch. Return to Arica the same way.
Optional visit Jurasi Hotspring, free time. Arriving in Arica at about 17:30 hour. (Lunch, mineral water).
