Rafting consists in descending white water on inflatable rafts, shooting rapids of varying classes depending on the level of difficulty.
During this activity you will make descents on the Baker River, the river with the greatest volume in Chile, mainly in Class 2 and 3+ rapids. It takes place on the first 6km (4 miles) of the River Baker, starting from Lake Bertrand where you try out the equipment used for the descent.
This tour includes:

Introductory course on rafting and safety.

Professional guides with great experience on the Baker River, the biggest in Chile, and trained in first aid.

Full equipment.

Six kilometers descent, about 2 hours.


Transportation on regular basis back the river back to Puerto Bertrand.

This activity has some safety measures, firstly suitable equipment complete instructions from professional guides.
Requirements: Minimum 16 years old. People with physical agility, not obese and in good health. Every participant must be able to swim.
Spare clothes and towel.
Shared excursions may have a delay of 15 to 30 minutes; this is because the bus picks up other passengers in hotels nearby.
Pick-up is between 10:00 AM, 14:00 AM, 17:00 AM according to your tour time option.
The schedule will be always confirmed by the executive the day before the excursion.
