Our tour continues to the “Hierbas Buenas” area, where is possible to find volcanic rock formations that tell us the history of the people who inhabited the place through their petroglyphs.
Then cross Matancilla, a land of ancient shepherds and old farms, and reach the Rainbow Valley (“Valle de Arcoíris”), which owes its name to the hills of varied colors such as red, green, blue, gray and violet, which shows the mineral composition.
Finally, visit the town of Rio Grande, foothills town that seems to exist frozen in time, with typical buildings of adobe mud and stone. Here we will visit the old streets and enjoy its originality. The tour ends at your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.
