Santiago is a mixture of the old and the modern, a characteristic that we invite you to know. Our tour through Santiago will show the immensity of the city, its contrast between the old architecture (1900) and the new buildings along with the great quantity of parks all over it. We will guide you through Plaza de Armas, the Main square of Santiago, where the cathedral, main post office, and city hall are located.
You will be told about the origins of our city. We will stop at the civic neighborhood and the surroundings of La Moneda, the government palace. Later on, we will continue to some of the old neighborhoods of Santiago, like Republica and Concha y Toro, we will visit the eastern part of the city and we'll see the modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the neighborhood.
We finish our tour in a handicraft store, located in an exclusive neighborhood, where we'll taste our national drink a Pisco Sour, and know Lapizlazuli masterpieces, our national stone that just exists in Chile and Afghanistan.
